The aim of the Lean.co Project is to develop and implement a new Vocational Training program, specialized in the Lean Construction methodology training for professionals in the construction sector, in order to provide the knowledge required and the specific competencies to apply and implement the focus in such methodology in the enterprises.
This way, it would help to sustainably improve competitiveness of workers, of enterprises and their work system, as well as to promote industry’s transition toward a new constructive model, more competitive and productive. This is the line promoted by the European Lean.co, through which Lean Construction courses would be developed for construction sector professionals, in order to respond to qualification needs, required for the labour market.
The actions that would be carried out are, the development of a training program in Lean Construction: the development of training methods, tools and teaching materials; and the validation, transfer, replication and created program pilots.
